About Greg

Greg is an active member of the Collin county community. His commitment to the college is a result of seeing his own children attend and graduate from CC as well as an ongoing pursuit to give back to others. His extensive business management experience includes a strong background in finance, technology, project management and risk mitigation, making him an excellent fit for the board of trustees place 1 seat.

Business Background

Greg has repeatedly built loyal teams: "one of those rare VP's who also naturally serves as an inspiring mentor for everyone that reports to him"; "one of the best leaders I have had the pleasure of working with" and "offered instrumental vision to the company by being the key leader for the IT Department's Agile transformation".

Additional Experience

He is also a veteran with extensive leadership successes as a Lieutenant Commander (retired) in the United States Coast Guard Reserve.

Greg has created and led three Program Management Offices, establishing best practices consisting of tools and techniques to standardize delivery of projects. Mentored hundreds of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and testers to increase their skill, knowledge, and abilities in order for them to deliver projects on time, on schedule and on value.

He has experience in leading improvement, infrastructure and application development projects in multiple industries including serving as Executive in charge of POS deployment for thousands of locations involving distributed team of over 300 individuals and total engagement valued at over $300M.
As a business leader, he has been responsible for the development, maintenance, and oversight of P&L, cost/schedule baselines, resource allocation plans, risk assessments and mitigation plans, financial and workload forecasts, performance measures, and portfolio governance.
